The designated operator of the Philippines, Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost), wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that, owing to severe weather conditions currently affecting certain parts of the country, postal operations will be suspended from 1 September 2025 and until further notice for the safety of its personnel and the public.   The areas affected are Metropolitan Manila and the following provinces:   * Bulacan * Cavite * Negros Occidental * Pampanga * Antique * Oriental Mindoro * Quezon * Rizal * Laguna * Camarines Norte * Camarines Sur * Albay * Sorsogon * Catanduanes * Masbate * Northern Samar   All inbound and outbound mail services will be affected during this period. PHLPost is monitoring the situation closely and will resume normal operations as soon as conditions permit. An update will be issued via EmIS once services have been restored.   PHLPost apologizes for any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding.
